Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee end-to-end

import operations

(Air & Sea). Ensure timely

customs clearance

, documentation accuracy, and compliance with regulations. Coordinate with

shipping lines, airlines, transporters, CHAs, CFS/ICD

, and internal teams for smooth cargo movement. Monitor

shipment tracking

, delays, and exceptions; provide proactive updates to clients. Review and validate import documentation:

MBL/HBL, AWB/HAWB, Invoice, Packing List, COO, BOE, etc.

Handle

CFS operations

, container de-stuffing, delivery orders, and cargo release processes. Maintain strong relationships with

vendors, carriers, overseas agents

, and clients. Ensure adherence to

SOPs, KPIs, and service-level standards

. Lead, guide, and train the import operations team. Manage escalations and resolve operational issues promptly. Coordinate with the finance team for

billing, cost sheets, vendor invoices

, and timely closure. Prepare periodic

operations reports

, performance metrics, and client-specific MIS. Ensure all import activities comply with

DGFT, Customs, GST

, and industry regulations.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in

Logistics, Supply Chain, Commerce

, or related field.

2-6 years

of experience in import operations within the

freight forwarding/logistics

industry. Strong knowledge of

import procedures, customs regulations, HS codes

, and international trade terms (Incoterms). Hands-on experience with

CHA coordination, CFS operations, and carrier dealings

. Proficiency in

MBL/HBL, AWB/HAWB

, and other import documentation. Excellent communication and client-handling skills. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and solve operational challenges. Strong leadership and team-management capabilities. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and coordination skills

Pay: ₹450,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
