, ensuring smooth communication with overseas agents, shipping lines, and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle
import documentation
including Bill of Lading, Invoice, Packing List, Certificate of Origin, etc.
Coordinate with
overseas agents, shipping lines, airlines, and transporters
for shipment updates.
Verify
freight charges, arrival notices, and delivery orders
.
Prepare and maintain
daily shipment tracking reports
and update clients on shipment status.
Ensure timely
release of documents
and follow-up on pending shipments.
Prepare
job files
in ERP / internal systems and maintain shipment records.
Liaise with the
accounts team
for billing and payment-related queries.
Assist in resolving operational or documentation discrepancies.
Maintain compliance with company policies and import regulations.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
Any Graduate (preferably BBA / B.Com / BA in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field).
Experience:
1-2 years
Technical Skills:
Basic knowledge of
Incoterms, HS codes, import documentation
Proficiency in
MS Excel, Word, and Email correspondence
Familiarity with
ERP/logistics software
preferred
Soft Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication
Strong coordination and follow-up skills
Attention to detail and time management
Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
