Minimum 4 to 5 years (Candidates who have worked in China will be preferred)

Geeta Apex Company is looking for an experienced

Import Manager

to handle end-to-end import operations with a strong focus on

coordination with Chinese suppliers and manufacturers

. The candidate should be fluent in the

Chinese language (Mandarin)

and well-versed in international trade and import procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate and communicate with suppliers and manufacturers in China Negotiate prices, delivery timelines, and payment terms with Chinese vendors Manage import documentation including invoices, packing lists, BL/AWB, COO, etc. Track shipments and ensure timely delivery of goods Coordinate with freight forwarders, CHA, shipping lines, and transporters Ensure compliance with customs regulations, duties, and import policies Resolve issues related to delays, quality, quantity, or documentation Maintain records of imports, suppliers, and shipment status Coordinate internally with accounts, logistics, and management teams

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proficiency in

Chinese language (spoken & written)

is mandatory Strong knowledge of import procedures, logistics, and customs clearance Experience in handling imports from China is essential Good negotiation and communication skills Ability to work independently and handle pressure Proficient in MS Office and basic ERP systems

Preferred Candidate Profile:

Candidates who have

worked or lived in China

will be given preference Strong understanding of Chinese business culture Result-oriented and detail-focused professional
