Job Summary

We are looking for an

Import-Export Trainee

with 1-2 years of hands-on experience to support day-to-day import and export operations. The candidate should have basic knowledge of documentation, customs procedures, and coordination with freight forwarders and internal teams.

Key ResponsibilitiesImport & Export Operations

Assist in

import and export documentation

such as Invoice, Packing List, BL / AWB, COO, and Shipping Bill Coordinate with

freight forwarders, CHA, shipping lines, and transporters

Track shipment status and ensure timely delivery
Customs & Compliance

Support customs clearance activities and documentation Ensure compliance with

DGFT, Customs, and other regulatory norms

Maintain records for audits and internal reference
Coordination & Reporting

Coordinate with vendors, customers, and internal departments Update shipment details, MIS reports, and follow-ups Assist seniors in resolving operational issues
Billing & Documentation Support

Verify freight bills, CHA bills, and other related invoices Maintain proper filing of import-export documents
Skills & Knowledge Required

Basic understanding of

INCOTERMS

Knowledge of

HS Codes

and customs procedures Good communication skills (English & local language) Basic computer skills -

MS Excel, MS Word

Willingness to learn and grow in operations
Qualification

Graduate / Diploma in

Logistics, International Business, or any discipline

Import-Export certification is an added advantage
Preferred Candidate Profile

Experience in

freight forwarding, CHA, or export house

Strong coordination and documentation skills Detail-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks
