The ERP Implementation Specialist is responsible for managing the successful deployment of the ERP system, ensuring it meets the business requirements and improves operational efficiencies. This role involves working closely with various departments, configuring the ERP software, migrating data, training users, and providing ongoing support post-implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
Plan, coordinate, and manage ERP implementation projects from inception to completion.
Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion.
Data Migration:
Lead data cleansing, mapping, and migration efforts from legacy systems to the new ERP system.
Ensure data integrity and consistency throughout the migration process.
Training and Support:
Develop and deliver training programs for end-users and stakeholders.
Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting during and after implementation.
Create user manuals, training materials, and documentation for the ERP system.
Change Management:
Assist in developing and implementing change management strategies to facilitate smooth transitions.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to address concerns and ensure user adoption.
Experience:
8+ years of experience in ERP implementation, preferably with systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar.
Proven track record of managing successful ERP projects from start to finish.
Skills:
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Proficient in data migration and system integration.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to train and support users effectively.
Familiarity with SQL, database management, and reporting tools.
Certifications:
Relevant certifications in ERP systems or project management (e.g., PMP, SAP Certification) are a plus.
Working Conditions:
