Additional Notes:



Know the difference between Cisco and Arista

If they have Cisco ACI experience great have them add it on the resume

Moving away from Cisco Nexus - having past experience with is good but not a need

Certifications are preferred

No Costa Rica or Columbia

Must Work EST time zone ( some weekend migration work )

Financial exp is a bonus but the skills are more important

Communication is key

Will be two rounds video interviews one with AT&T and one with the end client

It is crucial that the candidates have 7-10 years of experience as an Implementation Engineer in the Networking field, with a concentration in the following areas:

Data Center Cisco Nexus Platform switches Arista, with Arista CVP being highly desired BGP Automation experience - must have Ansible; Python is a plus



The Implementation Engineer plays an essential role in the deployment and setup of software or systems within the client's business environment. This position involves working closely with the client to understand their technical requirements and business objectives, translating these needs into a functional and efficient system. The engineering level resource will be responsible for taking an already completed Arista design and configuration and performing the hands-on execution work. The resource should have basic network experience as well as basic Ansible experience (ability to run a script and identify if the script is not running properly). Some basic knowledge of Arista CVP would be desirable.

Key Roles and Responsibilities



Meet client-specific requirements, ensuring compatibility with their existing IT infrastructure and systems. Perform rigorous testing of systems to ensure stability, efficiency, and security before full-scale implementation. Provide detailed documentation and standard operating procedures for the client, ensuring they understand the new systems and any changes made. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the implementation phase, offering timely and effective solutions. Coordinate with project managers and other team members to ensure timely and on-budget delivery of implementation projects. Evaluate post-implementation system performance, making adjustments as necessary and providing ongoing support and optimization services.

Requirements



Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, business, finance or related field/technical training. Must have strong analytical skills.

Minimum of 3 years' experience required in technical role in the following focus areas: Data Center, Cisco Nexus Platform switches, Arista, Arista CVP desired, BGP, Automation experience - must have Ansible. Python is a plus.

Unix/Linux background is a plus. CCIE preferred Financial services (Insurance, Banking, Investment banking), is a plus. Ability to be nimble and flexible; prioritize workload, proactively react to issues and consistently react to shifting deadlines. Ability to work weekends (as needed) for migration work
Job Type: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ₹2,000.00 - ?2,500.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Work Location: Remote
