About the Position




Responsibilities



Story Collection & Content Creation




Capture stories of impact from the field through interviews, visuals, and testimonials. Write engaging blogs, case studies, and human-interest stories showcasing beneficiaries and project outcomes. Collaborate with program teams to identify storytelling opportunities that align with organizational goals.

Visual & Digital Storytelling




Support video production -- scripting, interviewing, and assisting in shoots. Develop short-form content (reels, snippets, campaigns) for digital platforms. Coordinate with photographers, videographers, and editors for final output.

Social Media & Outreach Support




Assist in creating digital content calendars in collaboration with the communications team. Write captions, create visuals, and plan campaigns that amplify project visibility. Ensure content reflects brand tone and social impact messaging.

Documentation & Reporting




Maintain a repository of stories, media assets, and visuals for donor reports and communication materials. Support the creation of impact reports, newsletters, and communication decks.


Mandatory Qualification and Experience:



Bachelor's or Master's degree in

Mass Communication, Journalism, Development Communication, or related field

.

2-4 years of experience

in storytelling, communications, or media production (preferably in the social/development sector). Excellent writing and verbal communication skills in English (knowledge of Hindi or regional languages is a plus). Strong photography, videography, and interviewing skills. Familiarity with tools like

Canva, Adobe Suite, or video editing software

. Comfortable traveling to project locations for field documentation.

Empathy-driven storyteller with a deep understanding of community contexts. Ability to transform data and field experiences into emotionally compelling narratives. Team player with strong coordination and time-management skills
