The Immigration Executive is responsible for managing and processing immigration-related documentation, ensuring compliance with relevant immigration laws and regulations, and providing support and guidance to clients or employees throughout the visa and immigration process. This role involves coordinating with government authorities, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely submission of all applications.
Key Responsibilities
Visa Processing & Documentation
Prepare, review, and submit visa applications, work permits, residence permits, and related immigration documents.
Ensure all documentation meets government requirements and is submitted within deadlines.
Track application progress and follow up with immigration authorities as needed.
Client / Employee Support
Provide guidance on visa requirements, procedures, timelines, and compliance obligations.
Assist clients/employees in gathering necessary documentation.
Address queries related to immigration laws and policy updates.
Compliance & Record Management
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of immigration laws, policy changes, and procedural updates.
Keep accurate digital and physical records of all immigration cases.
Ensure all processes adhere to legal and organizational compliance standards.
Coordination & Communication
Liaise with government agencies, consulates, embassies, and external vendors.
Coordinate with internal departments such as HR, legal, and administration.
Prepare regular status reports on pending and completed applications.
Customer Service
Provide professional, timely, and effective support to clients throughout the immigration process.
Resolve issues related to documentation or application discrepancies.
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (preferably in Business Administration, Law, International Relations, or related fields).
1-3 years of experience in immigration services, HR mobility, or visa processing (experience requirements can vary).
Strong understanding of immigration laws and procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
Proficient in MS Office and case-management systems.
