Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented

Manual QA Tester

to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of quality assurance processes and methodologies and a keen interest in software testing.

Responsibilities:

Execute manual test cases to ensure product quality. Test APIs using tools like

Postman

, and validate API requests/responses. Identify and document bugs, errors, and inconsistencies in the software. Collaborate with developers and the automation QA team to understand requirements and resolve issues. Perform regression testing and re-testing of resolved bugs. Prepare and maintain test documentation such as test cases, test plans, and test results.

Skills and Qualifications:

Basic knowledge of API testing and tools like

Postman

. Understanding of API calls, request-response formats (JSON/XML), and status codes. Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing lifecycle. Knowledge of test rail and JIRA Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication. A proactive approach to learning and testing new features. Exposure to Agile methodology is a plus.

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
