Our mission is to create a world where anyone in the world can explore an authentic connection with their culture through the master artists who have been inheriting artistic knowledge from generations. We aim to create sustainable livelihoods for traditional artisans and use technology as a differentiator. Not just that, we have set out to digitize more than 3000 arts and crafts of India with online and offline experiences, including handcrafted products that integrate into modern lifestyles.

About the work from home job/internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Work on studying and illustrating motifs, elements and stories of different art forms
2. Provide digital illustrations for written content and social media
3. Work with graphic designers to assist in website design
4. Research new design ideas, stay on top of modern design trends and test out combinations of folk art forms

Requirements:

1. Experienced with using design tools like Procreate and Illustrator
2. Great design aesthetic and attention to detail
3. Current undergraduate or postgraduate student
4. Previous experience (work or education) related to design is a plus
5. Entrepreneurial with initiative and drive to take ownership on all tasks
6. A passion to make a difference in the lives of artists and artisans
7. Available immediately for a period of 4 months from Oct 2022 to Jan 2023
