Who you are



You are a passionate and creative Interior Designer with a strong eye for aesthetics, functionality, and commercial relevance. You enjoy working closely with business customers, understanding their brand identity, operational needs, and creating solutions that elevate their workspace while staying true to their values and budget.

You bring:

A formal education in Interior Design. Minimum 3 years of experience in Home Furnishing & Retail Design. Strong knowledge of IKEA's product range, materials, ergonomics, business customer segments, and how to create sustainable, functional and inspiring spaces. Expertise in using design tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, etc. Excellent communication and presentation skills to confidently sell design solutions. A genuine passion for customer interaction, creating tailored solutions, and staying up to date with the latest design and industry trends. The ability to work with speed, quality, and collaboration -- always guided by IKEA values.

Your responsibilities



As an IKEA for Business Interior Designer, you will:

Understand business customers' brand identity, activities, and needs, and translate these into complete and inspiring interior design solutions. Use your design expertise and the IKEA product range to develop solutions for all types of business customers across diverse segments. Design and deliver complete solutions considering function, architecture, ergonomics, lighting, scale, colour, sustainability, and more. Establish clear deliverables, scope, and budget with customers and ensure alignment throughout the project. Lead the planning process end-to-end in close collaboration with IKEA for Business co-workers and customer stakeholders. Present and sell design concepts and services in an inspiring and straightforward way. Stay updated on interior design trends, materials, business customer behaviours, and market competition to create relevant and impactful solutions. Follow up after each project to capture learnings and drive continuous improvement.
