Job Description

We are looking for Primary ( Maths , Science , English , Global Perspectives ) Teachers for a top international school in Adyar, Chennai.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver lessons aligned with the Cambridge Primary/IGCSE framework. Create age-appropriate, engaging, and interactive learning experiences. Assess student progress using formative and summative assessment tools. Maintain detailed records of student performance and provide timely feedback. Support students in developing critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills. Integrate technology effectively into teaching and learning. Manage classroom behavior and ensure a safe, positive learning environment. Collaborate with grade-level and subject teams for planning and academic coordination. Communicate regularly with parents on student progress and well-being. Participate in school events, professional development, and curriculum planning.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong understanding of Cambridge Primary and IGCSE curriculum. Excellent communication and classroom management skills. Ability to create interactive and inquiry-driven lessons. Student-centric approach with strong pastoral care skills. Proficiency in digital tools and educational technology. Collaboration, adaptability, and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

Bachelor's degree in Education (B.Ed) or equivalent. Specialization in Primary Education or relevant subject. Prior experience in IGCSE/Cambridge schools preferred. Strong command of English (spoken and written). Passion for working with young learners and supporting holistic development.
