Key Responsibilities
Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the Cambridge Primary Mathematics Framework.
Differentiate instruction to support the diverse learning needs and abilities of students.
Utilize interactive, inquiry-based, and technology-integrated teaching methods to enhance understanding.
Design and administer both formative and summative assessments in line with Cambridge standards.
Monitor, record, and report on student progress and achievement accurately and regularly.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians through reports and conferences.
Collaborate with colleagues to plan, review, and refine the mathematics curriculum.
Promote a positive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, confidence, and critical thinking.
Participate in school-wide professional development and Cambridge training programs.
Support math-related extracurricular activities, such as clubs or competitions.
Qualifications and Requirements
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, or a related field.
Certification:
Recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, B.Ed, QTS, or equivalent).
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of teaching experience (Cambridge Primary or IGCSE experience preferred).
Language:
Proficient in English (spoken and written).
Skills & Attributes:
Strong subject knowledge and understanding of inquiry-based learning.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
Ability to use educational technology and digital tools effectively.
