What would you do?

Data & AI - F&A A Finance and Accounting (F&A) management process which involves collecting, processing and delivering relevant, timely and accurate information used for providing strategic, financial and operational feedback to understand how a business is performing. It covers the steps involved in preparing and reporting the overall accounts which are typically stored in a general or nominal ledger and managed by a Controller.

Roles and Responsibilities:

o Strong domain knowledge -Extensive work experience in Record to Report - Finance & Accounting Processes in Transformational Consultant roles. 5-6 years of experience in Record to Report processes is a must o Partner with Clients to identify opportunities in order to impact Business Metrics o Excellent Data Interpretation Skills and Strong Story Telling Skills around the Data o Handle client conversations with senior stakeholders from Fortune 500 clients on topics around F&A Benchmarking, latest trends in the industry, Maturity Road Maps etc. o Good (English) communication skills and the ability to interact with both external stakeholders, internal stakeholders and other data collection specialists. o Strong decision-making skills, can-do attitude and ability to work with ambiguity o Works effectively both independently and as a member of a cross-functional team o Advanced MS-excel skills including formula, pivots, look-ups, statistical inferences o Hands on experience on two or more ERPs and consolidation systems (SAP, Oracle, JDE, Workday, Hyperion, Cadency, Blackline etc.) - preferably with data entry and extraction processes o Project Management experience, along with stakeholder management across business functions o Is a strong "Subject Matter Expert" in "Record to Report Process". Experience in processing and analyzing Journal entry, Reconciliations, Fixed Assets, Inter Company and Month-close activities will be a significant added advantage o Consolidate big-data, analyze, resolve data gaps, infer key insights, prepare recommendations, presentation to stakeholders and managing end-to-end project governance o Interact effectively with both external and internal stakeholders, as well as other parties involved in analytics engagement o Conceptualize and define RtR - F&A metrics relevant to the engagements & take complete ownership for driving them o Oversee the development of such metrics (targeted business outcomes achieved)- by providing guidance and feedback to the operations team o Anchor key discussions with the clients around F&A Processes, ERP gaps etc. o Conduct training to end users on F&A Analytical Solutions o Ensures compliance with data security, governance model and solutions deployed o Build long-term relationship with stakeholders, handles and sorts out major customer escalations in order to ensure strong customer relationships and enhance business
