Admissions Counsellor
. This is a
revenue-generating role
. You will be the first point of contact for prospective students, responsible for managing inquiries, providing expert guidance, and
converting leads into paid enrollments.

winning the student's trust by demonstrating superior knowledge and authority.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Management & Conversion (Revenue Focus)
Manage all inbound inquiries from
WhatsApp, Social Media, Calls, and Walk-ins
.
Rigorously follow up with potential students to close admissions and meet monthly revenue targets.
Ensure 0% lead leakage: every inquiry must be attended to promptly.
2. Expert Consultation (Technical Knowledge)
Act as a Subject Matter Expert. You must clearly explain the
Pros, Cons, and Global Acceptability
of:
IELTS
(Academic vs General)
PTE
(Pearson Test of English)
OET
(Occupational English Test for Healthcare)
CELPIP & TOEFL
Guide students on which test is best suited for their specific study abroad or migration goals (Canada, UK, Australia, USA, NZ).
3. "Why Sekhris?" (Competitive Selling)
Win the Comparison:
You must be able to articulate why Sekhris is superior to competitors, free apps, or YouTube self-study.
Sell the Value:
Explain that self-study carries the risk of repeated failure, whereas Sekhris offers Highly acurate AI-powered Software for mock tests, and certified trainers to ensure a first-time pass.
Shift the conversation from "Price" to "Career Safety."
4. Operations & Onboarding
Maintain accurate daily records of calls and lead status in
Excel/CRM
.
Handle the admission formalities, fee collection, and ensure the student is smoothly onboarded into their class.
Candidate Requirements
Communication:
Excellent command of Spoken and Written English is
mandatory
. You are the face of an English Academy.
Sales Attitude:
You are comfortable working with targets. You know how to ask for the sale without being aggressive.
Patience & Empathy:
You are a good listener who can counsel confused students and parents with respect.
Tech Savvy:
Proficient in using
WhatsApp for Business
and
Microsoft Excel
.
Experience:
Prior experience in an IELTS Centre, Immigration Consultancy, or Education Sales is highly preferred.
