Job Summary

IMF Global Horizons is seeking a qualified and motivated

IELTS Tutor

to deliver high-quality instruction to students preparing for the IELTS examination. The tutor will be responsible for teaching all four IELTS modules Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking while providing personalized feedback and strategies to help students achieve their target band scores.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging and structured IELTS preparation classes (Academic and/or General Training) Teach IELTS Listening, Reading, Writing (Task 1 & 2), and Speaking modules Assess students' current English proficiency and identify areas for improvement Provide individualized feedback, corrections, and band score improvement strategies Prepare lesson plans, practice tests, and mock exams aligned with IELTS standards Monitor student progress and maintain performance records Support students with exam techniques, time management, and confidence building Stay updated with the latest IELTS exam formats and scoring criteria Maintain a professional and supportive learning environment
Preferred Skills & Experience

IELTS teaching certification (e.g., Cambridge, British Council, TESOL, TEFL) Experience teaching international students Experience (6 month) Ability to teach online using digital platforms (Zoom, Google Meet, LMS tools) Strong classroom management and student engagement skills
