Job Description

Provide

round-the-clock nursing care

to patients in the ICU. Monitor and record patients'

vital signs

, including heart rate, oxygen saturation, blood pressure, and temperature. Administer

medications, IV infusions, and injections

as per the doctor's orders. Assist physicians during

clinical rounds, intubations, catheterizations, and other ICU procedures.

Maintain and operate

critical care equipment

, including ventilators, monitors, infusion pumps, and defibrillators. Observe and report any

changes in patient condition

to the treating physician immediately. Ensure proper

documentation

of nursing assessments, medication charts, and daily progress notes. Maintain

infection control standards

and ensure aseptic techniques are followed at all times. Provide

emotional support

to patients and their families, ensuring comfort and communication. Participate in

emergency response situations

(e.g., Code Blue) and perform CPR or BLS as required. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (doctors, technicians, physiotherapists) to ensure holistic care. Ensure cleanliness, readiness, and adequate stock of ICU equipment and consumables.

Requirements:

Qualification:

GNM / B.Sc. Nursing (Registration with State Nursing Council is mandatory/ INC)

Experience:

Minimum 1-3 years of experience in ICU / Critical Care Unit

Skills:

Sound knowledge of ICU procedures and equipment Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail Good communication and teamwork skills Ability to remain calm under pressure and in emergencies

Pay: ₹12,214.90 - ₹34,814.34 per month
