Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Care:

Conduct hourly monitoring and documentation of patient vitals, clinical status, and treatment response. Assist the intensivist in daily clinical rounds and implement the advised treatment plans. Perform emergency procedures such as CPR, intubation, and defibrillation under supervision. Ensure timely administration of medications, fluids, and other therapies as per orders. Manage ventilated patients and monitor ventilator settings as per protocol.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain detailed and accurate patient case records, progress notes, and treatment charts. Record all interventions and observations promptly in the ICU file and electronic system (if applicable). Update the intensivist and shift in-charge about any critical changes in the patient's condition.

Communication:

Coordinate with consultants, nursing staff, and technicians for smooth ICU operations. Communicate patient status updates to relatives as directed by the intensivist or hospital policy. Ensure effective handover during shift changes with proper documentation.

Emergency Management:

Attend to all emergency calls within the ICU and other hospital areas as per requirement. Provide immediate life support and stabilize patients until the senior consultant arrives.

Infection Control & Safety:

Adhere strictly to infection control policies and aseptic precautions. Ensure proper waste segregation and disposal as per hospital protocol. Participate in safety drills and quality improvement initiatives.

Training & Development:

Participate in regular clinical meetings, CMEs, and internal training sessions. Stay updated with the latest critical care guidelines and protocols.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
