We are seeking a dedicated and experienced ICU Manager to oversee the clinical and administrative operations of our Intensive Care Unit. The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality patient care, efficient workflow, and compliance with hospital standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage ICU staff including nurses, technicians, and support employees.
Monitor ICU patient care delivery and ensure adherence to clinical protocols.
Develop duty schedules, assign responsibilities, and ensure adequate staffing levels.
Coordinate communication between doctors, medical teams, and administrative departments.
Conduct daily rounds and ensure timely documentation of patient progress.
Manage ICU equipment, stock levels, and ensure timely maintenance and calibration.
Train, mentor, and guide nursing staff to maintain high standards of patient care.
Implement quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with hospital policies.
Assist in developing ICU budgets and controlling unit expenses.
Handle patient concerns, safety issues, and ensure best patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Nursing (B.Sc / M.Sc Nursing) or equivalent.
Valid nursing license/registration.
Proven experience in ICU operations and staff management.
Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
