ICU Duty Doctor

Experience:

3-5 years preferred

Qualification:

MBBS (Mandatory) with a valid registration; candidates with a PG in Emergency Medicine or Critical Care will be given preference.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled ICU Duty Doctor to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive medical care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standards of patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Management:

Monitor and manage critically ill patients in the ICU. Perform timely assessments, diagnose medical conditions, and administer appropriate treatments. Ensure accurate and complete documentation of patient records, including daily progress notes and care plans.

Emergency Response:

Respond promptly to emergencies and provide lifesaving interventions when necessary. Support resuscitation efforts, including Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS).

Collaboration and Communication:

Coordinate with consultants, nurses, and other medical staff to ensure seamless care delivery. Communicate effectively with patients' families, providing updates on the patient's condition and treatment plan.

Procedures and Interventions:

Perform and assist with bedside procedures, such as intubation, central line insertion, and arterial line placement. Manage ventilators, invasive monitoring, and other critical care equipment.

Compliance and Protocols:

Adhere to hospital policies, infection control protocols, and ICU guidelines. Ensure compliance with ethical and professional standards in patient care.

Key Skills and Competencies:

Strong clinical knowledge and decision-making skills. Ability to work under pressure in high-stress situations. Proficiency in managing ventilators and other ICU equipment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Empathy and a patient-focused approach to care.

Shift Details:

Rotational shifts (Day and Night). On-call duties may be required based on patient needs.

Pay: ?50,000.00 - ?150,000.00 per month
