About this opportunity :

The resource would be responsible for handling the customer end/Test Environment Evolved Packet Core(Virtual and Physical) , CEE (Cloud execution environment),5GC and K8S. Service requests and fixing them on permanent basis, They would be requiring to closely work with customer development teams to understand and come up with solutions thereby having minimum impact on normal operations irrespective to changing dynamics on application environment!

What you will do :

• This role resides in the Core Networks Design team; accountable for ensuring the delivery of all solutions for LTE EPC, 5GC, CS / PS, CEE and Interconnect management.
• Ensure NFV based EPC, Voice and Messaging infrastructure is maintained with a high- degree of operational efficiency.
• Ability to independently deploy configure CEE/5GC/nodes.
• Review, troubleshoot and resolve 5G/CEE/K8S platform issues within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) .
• Coordination experience with internal product , engineering teams and customer handling experience
• Apply proactive optimization techniques for development and implementation support efforts to meet integration and performance expectations
• Independently analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end, involving application understanding, performance tuning as per application.
• Develop and maintain technical documents such as Methods Of Procedures (MOPs).
• Knowledge of Cloud , SDN & NFV

You will bring :

• Excellent solid understanding of CEE/5GC/LTE architecture, interfaces and procedures.
• Handson with virtual deployment and troubleshooting of Ericsson 5GC
• Understanding of PCC,PCG,CCxx and 5GC architecture.
• Good experience on working closing with product team and able to transfer the requirement in solutions.
• Excellent Solid understanding of 4G and 5G Core nodes and legacy packet cores (MSC, SGSN)
• Experience in telecom 5G/UDM environment support at least 5-6 yrs of exp.
• Specialization in Ericsson Packet Core nodes with an understanding of Packet core
• Experience of operation team in Packet/ Circuit core networking and NFV around EPC over LTE
• Knowledge of 5G, from RAN , Core SBA perspective
• Sound knowledge of 5GC EPC, IMS, SIP, Diameter Protocols, LTE interfaces.
• Experience with Splunk, NetScout, Wireshark, other networking tools
• Expertise in programmatically analyzing and troubleshooting of IMS related issues Responsibilities
• Good experience with scripting skills (bash, Python, PERL,)
• Sound Understanding of telecom protocols.
• Experience with ITIL ways of working, Able to handle incidents and work on Problem Management tickets.
• Experience on multiple Linux flavors, Red hat, Centos, Ubuntu.
• Flexible with working hours
