Role Overview

Avanti Learning is looking for a passionate and result-oriented ICSE Board & Olympiad Science Teacher (PCB) to mentor students in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology for ICSE curriculum and national/international Science Olympiads. The role involves conceptual teaching, problem-solving, exam-oriented preparation, and academic mentoring.

Key Responsibilities

Teach Physics, Chemistry, and Biology for ICSE Classes 6-10 with strong conceptual clarity. Prepare students for Science Olympiads (NSO, IMO-level Science, NTSE foundation, etc.). Design and deliver engaging online/live classes using digital teaching tools. Develop lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and assessments aligned with ICSE and Olympiad standards. Focus on concept building, analytical thinking, and application-based learning. Conduct regular tests, doubt-solving sessions, and revision classes. Track student performance and provide personalized feedback and mentoring. Collaborate with academic and content teams for curriculum enhancement. Support students in building scientific temperament and exam confidence.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Science (Physics/Chemistry/Biology) or related field. Strong command over ICSE syllabus and Olympiad-level Science concepts. Proven experience in teaching PCB at middle and secondary school level. Excellent communication skills in English (Hindi is a plus). Comfortable with online teaching platforms, digital whiteboards, and LMS tools.
Preferred Skills

Prior experience with Olympiad coaching institutes is a plus Ability to simplify complex concepts using real-life examples and experiments. Student-centric teaching approach with high engagement. Strong problem-solving and mentoring skills. Passion for teaching and educational innovation.
