Title: IBM MQ Admin

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain IBM MQ across multiple environments.
• Monitor and troubleshoot messaging issues, ensuring high availability and reliability.
• Collaborate with developers to optimize message flows and troubleshoot application integration issues.
• Implement security best practices, including authentication, authorization, and encryption.
• Perform performance tuning, capacity planning, and disaster recovery testing.
• Support cloud-based MQ deployments and integrations.
• Work with Kubernetes-based environments for containerized MQ deployments.
• Create and maintain documentation for configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting.

• Strong expertise in IBM MQ administration, installation, and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with queue managers, message flows, and clustering.
• Ability to work with developers, troubleshoot application-level issues, and suggest optimizations.
• Some development knowledge in Java, Python, or other relevant programming languages.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Basic understanding of Kubernetes and containerized deployments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Experience with IBM MQ on cloud-native platforms.
• Familiarity with IBM Integration Bus (IIB) or Apache Kafka.
• Knowledge of DevOps tools like Jenkins, Ansible, or Terraform.
