We are looking for IBM Mainframe Developers with experience ranging from entry-level to senior-level. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of mainframe technologies such as COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, and VSAM, with the ability to develop, maintain, and support large-scale enterprise applications.
Key ResponsibilitiesFor 0-2 Years (Entry-Level):
Assist in developing, testing, and debugging mainframe applications.
Write and execute JCL jobs and basic COBOL programs.
Support production issues under supervision.
Work with senior developers to understand system design and coding standards.
Document technical tasks and ensure code quality.
For 2-5 Years (Mid-Level):
Develop new modules, enhance existing features, and perform code optimization.
Analyze requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Perform unit testing, integration testing, and troubleshoot defects.
Work with DB2 databases, CICS transactions, and VSAM files.
Participate in on-call support and provide production fixes.
For 5-10 Years (Senior-Level):
Lead design, development, and maintenance of complex mainframe applications.
Provide technical guidance to junior team members.
Drive performance tuning, code reviews, and technical improvements.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to define requirements and propose solutions.
Ensure adherence to best practices, security policies, and compliance standards.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of

Experience with

Familiarity with
Change Management tools

Knowledge of MQ Series, IMS, or z/OS tools.
Basic scripting (UNIX/Shell).
Exposure to modernization tools (COBOL to Java/.NET, Mainframe to Cloud).
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
Soft Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to work in fast-paced and large enterprise environments.
