Job Description

We are seeking a skilled IBM ELM Plugin Developer responsible for designing, developing, and customizing plugins/extensions for IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management (ELM) tools such as DOORS Next, Engineering Workflow Management (EWM), and Engineering Test Management (ETM). The ideal candidate will have experience working with Jazz-based architecture and REST/OSLC APIs.

The candidate should have strong hands-on experience with IBM ELM tools (DOORS Next, EWM, ETM)




Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop custom plugins and extensions for IBM ELM suite (DOORS Next, EWM/RTC, ETM/RQM).

Integrate ELM tools with third-party systems using OSLC, REST APIs, and custom adapters.

Customize dashboards, reports, and user interfaces as per business needs.

Participate in requirements gathering, analysis, and design workshops with stakeholders.

Collaborate with the QA team to ensure the developed plugins meet functional and performance expectations.

Provide technical support for deployed plugins, resolve defects and issues.

Maintain documentation related to custom development and configuration.

Upgrade and maintain ELM environments and developed plugins during system updates.

1. Agile Methodologies (Should know the basics of SCRUM, Waterfall and SAFE) - Mandatory

4. Knowledge of IBM ELM - Mandatory

Technical Skill:



1. IBM ELM plugin development - Mandatory

2. Knowledge in frontend and backend development - Mandatory

3. Migration of work items - Mandatory

4. Basic programming experience in either java or python or javascript - Desired

5. Git-based VCS - Optional

6. OSLC Knowledge - Desired

7. Migration of Requirements (Having DOORS DNG migration requirement knowledge) - Optional
