Description:
CTG is seeking to fill an IBM Cloud Consultant position for our client.
Location: Remote
Duration: 8 months
Duties:
Lead design and implementation of API- and Microservices-based architectures on IBM Cloud.
Develop and manage Business Processes (BPs) using IBM Sterling File Gateway, Connect:Direct, and Sterling Secure Proxy.
Configure and support Trading Partners, SFG templates, and SFG channels.
Troubleshoot Business Process failures, connectivity issues, and performance bottlenecks.
Map and migrate existing components to IBM Cloud services; optimize cloud integrations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud solutions.
Automate and schedule Managed File Transfer (MFT) processes via Cron or third-party tools.
Required Skills:
IBM Sterling File Gateway, Connect:Direct, and Sterling Secure Proxy
Business Process development, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
Unix/Windows OS, networking, and shell scripting
File transfer protocols: FTP, SFTP, FTPS, CDSA
Familiarity with IBM Sterling Integrator and MFT object scheduling
Preferred Skills:
Business Process modeling (BPML/GPM), XML, code lists, and SFG channel configuration
EDI integration and trading partner setup
IBM Cloud-native development, containers, and serverless architecture
Experience with Node.js, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, or Netflix OSS
Working knowledge of Angular.js, JavaScript, and CSS
Experience & Education:
2+ years of experience implementing API/Microservices-based architectures
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $63.00 to $70.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
