Qualification:

B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education), preferably with relevant certifications or training in the IB curriculum.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced

IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) Teacher

to join our progressive school in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. The ideal candidate will be passionate about fostering a nurturing, inquiry-based learning environment in line with the IB philosophy.

Key Responsibilities

Curriculum Delivery:

Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the IB PYP curriculum.

Inquiry-Based Learning:

Facilitate student-centered, inquiry-led learning experiences.

Student Development:

Foster holistic development, ensuring academic, emotional, and social growth of students.

Assessment:

Use formative and summative assessments to monitor progress and provide feedback.

Collaboration:

Work closely with colleagues to support interdisciplinary learning and unit planning.

Professional Development:

Participate in ongoing IB training and staff workshops.

Classroom Management:

Create a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment.

Parent Communication:

Maintain regular communication with parents about student progress and classroom activities.

Documentation:

Maintain records of lesson planning, assessments, and student achievements as per IB requirements.
