2 - 5 years in teaching, preferably with experience in IB PYP Schools

Education / Qualifications

B.Ed degree (required) Preferably additional qualification or training in IB PYP (Category 1 or 2 training desirable) Strong competence in English (spoken & written) Ability to differentiate instruction and work with mixed ability groups
Key Responsibilities

Plan, prepare and deliver high quality, inquiry-based lessons in accordance with the IB PYP framework Foster the holistic development of students (academic, social, emotional, cultural) through student-centered approaches Assess student progress using formative & summative assessments; provide feedback and set targets for students Maintain and update student records--portfolios, reports, etc. Collaborate with PYP Coordinator, Head of Primary, and other teachers to design, implement, and review units of inquiry and transdisciplinary themes Communicate with parents regularly about student progress, behavior, and well-being Contribute to extra-curricular activities, school events (assemblies, exhibitions, etc.) Use appropriate teaching aids, ICT tools, and inclusive methods to support learners with different needs Maintain a safe, respectful, inclusive, and positive classroom environment
