International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Programme (MYP)
. The ideal candidate will inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and global-mindedness while fostering interdisciplinary learning in the Humanities.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging, inquiry-based lessons aligned with
MYP subject-group objectives
and the
IB Learner Profile
.
Design interdisciplinary units connecting History, Geography, and Civics to real-world contexts.
Develop and implement
formative and summative assessments
following MYP criteria.
Collaborate with colleagues to design
Interdisciplinary Units (IDUs)
and support cross-curricular learning.
Maintain accurate records of student progress, provide constructive feedback, and support student reflection and goal setting.
Contribute to the review and development of the Humanities curriculum to ensure vertical and horizontal alignment.
Participate actively in school events, professional learning communities, and IB training/workshops.
Promote inquiry, intercultural understanding, and responsible citizenship through classroom practice.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in
History, Geography, Political Science, Education
, or a related field.
Minimum 2-7 years of experience
teaching Individual & Socities at the middle or secondary level (IB MYP experience strongly preferred).
IB MYP Category 1 or 2 training
in Individuals & Societies desirable.
Demonstrated experience with
concept-based learning
and
inquiry-driven pedagogy

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
