Key Responsibilities

1. Academic Planning & Delivery

Co-create transdisciplinary, experiential, and inquiry-based learning journeys aligned with progressive frameworks like Cambridge and NCERT. Honor child readiness instead of rigid textbook pacing. Facilitate learning through projects, provocations, questions, and real-world contexts.

2. Student Assessment & Feedback

Document learning through portfolios, visual journals, peer reflections, and storytelling. Offer nourishing feedback that honors growth over grades. Focus on evolution and effort, not outcomes.

3. Pastoral Support & Mentorship

Serve as a steady anchor for learners, offering presence over answers. Support children through emotional, social, and intellectual growth. Be part of children's lives beyond academics -- in dorms, dining halls, and celebrations.

Bring your unique gifts -- whether in music, gardening, trekking, theatre, or storytelling. Create meaningful experiences that blend ethics, joy, sustainability, and collaboration. Celebrate contribution over competition.

Ideal Experience & Qualities

3-5 years of teaching experience, preferably in alternative, progressive, or residential settings. Deep subject understanding, cultural sensitivity, and thematic planning ability. Familiarity with experiential frameworks such as NCF 2023. Emotional steadiness, compassionate boundaries, and collaborative spirit. Comfort with educational technology paired with simplicity and discernment.
