Job Description
Monitor system to identify the current activities, problems, message queues, performance resources etc. to ensure systems health is fine all the time.
Ability to identify, troubleshoot and resolve any abnormal behavior of system, performance bottlenecks etc. on immediate basis.
Ability to understand the iSeries database and operations over it. Good knowledge of SQL400 will be add on
.
Willingness to understand and support hosted applications, its basic functionality & their implementation on iSeries. Willingness to co-ordinate with respective application team to understand the customized established processes.Good knowledge on administrative topics, work management, IPL, Journal management, PTF installation, Printer & Device management.
