The Hyperion Planning Engineer will lead the project with multiple delivery teams (scrum teams) based in Pune as part of a globally distributed team and will perform a dual role of Technical lead and solution Architect to drive requirements, design, develop and rollout Hyperion planning and FDMEE solution for Finance department. This role will have direct interaction with business users, including senior management and will have many opportunities to bring value to the business and progress in this career path. The Hyperion Planning Engineer will work under the Development Lead in Pune for GF MIS.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should possess:

9-12 years of consulting experience and will be primarily skilled in Hyperion Essbase, Planning & FDMEE projects end-to-end delivery, with ability to consult with business as Techno Functional Architect * Work in tandem with other IT team members to arrive at technical solutions that are strategic and fit-for-purpose; develop and review technical specifications and design documents

• Strong skill-set in Planning and FDMEE implementation projects on writing business rules, creating web forms, creating Inbound and outbound process for multiple upstream and downstream systems
• Attend meetings with Business/Change team to understand silos, help elicit requirements/user stories, work with Technical leads and IT development team to map requirements to solution in Agile fashion
• Create, maintain and implement as per project plans adapting to frequently evolving requirements and changes
• Strong stakeholder-management skills & ability to communicate & partner well at different levels of the organization including senior management
• Odyssey knowledge and Agile certifications are a major plus
• Present options and a recommendation in the appropriate forum e.g. design working group to obtain a formal approval for any major/high-impact design decisions
• Own the end-to-end delivery of project requirements from requirements to testing and production deployment
• Perform testing and review of features/enhancements before UAT commencement
• Troubleshoot production issues together with business & technical teams.
• Provide 3rd level support once the project has gone-live in Production for a defined time period
• Apply Optimization techniques
