Position Overview:



We are looking for a dedicated and technically skilled Hydraulic Service Engineer to join our growing service team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, servicing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Hydraulic Power Packs and related systems at customer sites and in-house.

Hydraulic Service Engineer - Hydraulic Power Pack



Job Summary:



We are seeking a skilled and experienced Hydraulic Service Engineer to join our service team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of hydraulic power packs and systems across a range of industries. This role involves both workshop and field-based work, often requiring travel to customer sites.

Key Responsibilities:



Install, commission, and test hydraulic power packs and associated hydraulic systems. Diagnose and troubleshoot hydraulic issues, including leaks, pressure drops, pump/motor failures, and control valve malfunctions. Carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of hydraulic power packs. Read and interpret hydraulic schematics and technical drawings. Assemble, disassemble, and rebuild hydraulic components (pumps, valves, cylinders, etc.). Perform system flushing and contamination control procedures. Conduct pressure testing and performance analysis of hydraulic systems. Provide technical support to clients and internal teams. Maintain accurate service records, reports, and documentation. Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations during service activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:



Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Hydraulic Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 2-5 years of experience in servicing hydraulic power packs or similar equipment. Strong understanding of hydraulic principles, components, and troubleshooting techniques. Ability to read and understand hydraulic circuit diagrams. Proficient in the use of measuring tools, hydraulic testers, and diagnostic equipment. Hands-on experience with hydraulic pumps, motors, valves, filters, and cylinders. Good communication and customer service skills. Willingness to travel and work at client sites as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:



Certification in fluid power or hydraulics (e.g., NFPA, CETOP, or equivalent). Experience with PLC-controlled hydraulic systems. Knowledge of electrical systems associated with hydraulic packs.
