We are hiring Technician - Hydraulics Lab - Agricultural implements manufacturing plant as per below mentioned details.

Job Summary:



Skilled and detail-oriented Testing & Measurement Technician to work in a hydraulics lab. The technician will be responsible for setting up, executing, and monitoring test setup in lab environment. This role involves hands-on work with mechanical systems, instrumentation, data acquisition, and adherence to safety and quality standards. The position requires physical activity including lifting, rigging, and equipment handling as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:



Lead in setting up and aligning test rigs, hydraulic actuators, and fixtures as necessary. Install and calibrate sensors like pressure, flow and other transducers as necessary. Operate hydraulic power packs and troubleshoot mechanical and hydraulic systems. Configure/monitor data acquisition systems (DAQ) for long-duration tests.

Perform basic data analysis and ensure data integrity throughout the testing process.

Conduct test as per prescribed procedure. Make a appropriate decision to pause the test if the test requirements are not met. Also, communicate the same immediately to Reporting manager if the test is paused due to certain reasons. Document and report the observations from lab test set-up if any. Provide detailed information on failure issues like "What Happened", "Situation", "How Resolved (only in consultation with JD engineer)" during any undesired conditions etc.

Maintain test equipment and perform preventive maintenance routines.

Ensure daily and scheduled service and maintenance of test set-up as necessary. Document test setups, procedures, results, and troubleshooting logs.

Collaborate with engineers and analysts to ensure accurate and efficient testing.

Ensure compliance with lab safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Required Skills

Strong mechanical/mechatronics/electronic system aptitude and understanding of mechanical systems. Experience with test rig setup and hydraulic systems. Proficiency in mounting and calibrating sensors and instrumentation. Familiarity with Data Acquisition systems such as National Instruments (NI). Basic knowledge (not mandatory) of data analysis tools like Excel or LabVIEW. Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and data acquisition issues. Attention to detail and strong documentation skills. Good communication and teamwork abilities. Commitment to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications:



Education:

Diploma in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Instrumentation Engineering.

Experience:

2-5 years of hands-on experience in a testing lab or R&D environment, preferably in heavy machinery or automotive sectors. Experience with [specific manufacturing processes, tools, or technologies relevant to the company] is preferred.

Work Environment



The role involves working in a lab environment with exposure to mechanical systems, hydraulic equipment, and data acquisition systems. Technicians may be required to work in shifts and wear appropriate PPE all the time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
