Job Summary

The Hydraulic Fitter is responsible for

installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of hydraulic systems and equipment

to ensure smooth and uninterrupted plant operations. The role involves working with hydraulic cylinders, pumps, valves, hoses, and power packs while following safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Install, assemble, and maintain

hydraulic systems and components

such as pumps, motors, valves, cylinders, hoses, and fittings Diagnose and troubleshoot

hydraulic faults, leakages, pressure issues, and performance failures

Carry out

preventive and breakdown maintenance

of hydraulic machines and equipment Read and interpret

hydraulic circuit diagrams and technical drawings

Replace damaged or worn-out hydraulic parts and ensure proper system functioning Test hydraulic systems for pressure, flow, and efficiency after repairs Ensure compliance with

safety, quality, and operational standards

Maintain maintenance logs, breakdown reports, and service records Coordinate with electrical and mechanical teams during major repairs Support plant commissioning, shutdowns, and overhauls when required

Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of

hydraulic circuits, systems, and components

Hands-on experience with

hydraulic power packs, presses, cylinders, and pumps

Ability to identify faults and perform quick corrective actions Basic understanding of

mechanical and electrical systems

(preferred) Knowledge of safety procedures related to high-pressure systems Good teamwork and communication skills

Qualification & Experience

ITI / Diploma

in Fitter, Mechanical, or Hydraulic Trade

2-8 years

of experience in industrial hydraulic maintenance Experience in

manufacturing / aluminium / heavy engineering / plant operations

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ?40,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
