hydraulic shock absorbers
and
damping systems
end-to-end.
Perform
oil flow and pressure drop calculations
for valves, orifices, and flow paths.
Develop and tune
force-velocity and force-displacement curves
to achieve target damping characteristics.
Simulate hydraulic behavior using
Simcenter AMESim
,
MATLAB/SimHydraulics
, or
Automation Studio
.
Conduct
CFD and FEA
(ANSYS / COMSOL / SolidWorks Flow) for valve, piston, and housing optimization.
Prepare
design documentation
, including calculation reports, validation plans, and test correlation studies.
Work with
prototype and testing teams
to validate products through
HEICO, BISS, or MTS
dynamic test rigs and correlate design simulations with real test data.
Collaborate with
manufacturing and suppliers
to ensure design feasibility and durability.

Hands-on with
hydraulic simulation tools
:Simcenter AMESim, SimHydraulics (MATLAB), Automation Studio, or HydroSym.
Skilled in
CAD (SolidWorks/CATIA)
and
CFD/FEA
for design optimization.
Exposure to
hydraulic damper testing systems
such as
HEICO
,
BISS
, or
MTS
or related for performance validation and correlation.
5-10 years of product design experience in
hydraulic shock absorbers or damping systems
.
B.E./M.Tech
