Key Responsibilities

Design and develop

hydraulic and electro-hydraulic actuators

for gate, globe, ball, and butterfly valves Perform

actuator sizing calculations

(thrust, torque, pressure, speed, duty cycle) Prepare

GA drawings, assembly drawings, and BOMs

using CAD tools Select hydraulic components such as

pumps, cylinders, accumulators, valves, and power packs

Ensure compliance with

API, ISO, IEC, ATEX, SIL

and customer specifications Support

proposal and sales teams

with technical clarifications and actuator selection Review customer datasheets, technical queries, and deviations Coordinate with

production, quality, and testing teams

during manufacturing and FAT Prepare and review

technical documents

: datasheets, manuals, test procedures, and reports Support

troubleshooting and root cause analysis

for actuator performance issues Assist in

product improvement and standardization activities

Required Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of

hydraulics and electro-hydraulic systems

Experience with

valve automation and actuator interfaces

Understanding of

control systems, solenoids, limit switches, and feedback devices

Proficiency in

AutoCAD / SolidWorks / Creo

Good understanding of

industrial valves and actuator mounting standards (ISO 5210 / 5211)

Ability to interpret

P&IDs, hydraulic schematics, and wiring diagrams

Familiarity with

testing procedures and FAT requirements

Strong documentation and communication skills
Educational Qualification

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering

(preferred) Additional knowledge in

hydraulics or automation

is an advantage
Experience

2-6 years

of experience in

valve automation or actuator design

Experience in

oil & gas, power, water, or process industries

preferred
