Taking a lead role in Hydraulic System design and development throughout the product development life cycle to meet performance, reliability, quality and cost objectives of the program in PSD (Parts and Services Division)
Job description
This position is primary responsible for technical feasibility for localization projects for hydraulic system component but not limited to technical approvals, testing and validation.
Responsible for hydraulic system and Components design for aftermarket solutions for Epiroc product range.
Selection of hydraulic components like pump, control valve, motor, cylinders, hydraulic power lift and filter from different hydraulic sources etc
Responsible for testing and validation of the Hydraulic systems and component for ensuring optimal performance and approval of technical feasibility review
Conduct in-depth troubleshooting to identify and address any hydraulic system related issues by deploying scientific methodologies.
Explore new technology and optimization in system design.
Proactive role in optimizing performance, reliability and cost targets through systematic reviews with concerned CFT and global team.
Ensure Proper Technical File Maintain & Upgrade Time to time for assigned products related to Hydraulic Component selection and Product Hydraulic System Calculation.
Contribute significantly to the development of new products, providing technical expertise in hydraulic systems.
Prepare & own Test & verification of Hydraulic Component and Full Product according to CE Documentation Checklist.
Experience requirements.
Working experience of around 7 years and above in Construction / Mining Equipment Hydraulic System design and development.
Knowledge
Is competent and aware of current, state-of-the-art hydraulics technologies.
Is eager to stay expert in his/her domain of technology.
Knowledge and working experience of mobile hydraulics components design like pumps / valves / actuators / Filters / Hydraulic Power Lift
Hydraulics system design criteria understanding and schematics design.
Understanding of technical parameters impact on system performance e.g. system pressure, temperature etc.
Design calculations like neutral pressure drop, hydraulic power losses, hydraulic power, and torque requirements, Lifting capacity.
Proficiency in ERP M3, Creo and Teamcenter.
Proficiency in MS office
Educational requirements
M.E / M. Tech / B.E. / B. Tech degree in Mechanical / Agricultural Engineering from reputed institutions
