The Hydra Operator is responsible for safely operating the Hydra crane for lifting, shifting, loading, and unloading PEB materials and structural components at projects handled by
Ferromonk Steel Structures Pvt. Ltd.
Key Responsibilities
Operate the Hydra crane safely for movement of steel structures, PEB components, and site materials.
Follow all safety guidelines and ensure safe lifting operations at all times.
Conduct daily inspection of Hydra including brakes, hydraulics, ropes, hooks, and overall machine condition.
Coordinate with riggers, helpers, site engineers, and supervisors for proper positioning and movement.
Maintain logbook for operations, fuel consumption, and daily checks.
Report any issues, faults, or unsafe conditions immediately to the Site In-Charge.
Ensure the Hydra is not overloaded and no unsafe lifting is performed.
Assist in routine maintenance and minor machine adjustments when required.
Skills & Requirements
Valid and updated Hydra/Crane Operator License.
2-5 years of experience operating Hydra in construction/PEB industry.
Strong knowledge of safe lifting operations, load limits, and site safety.
Physically fit, attentive, and safety-conscious.
