Key Responsibilities: 1. Operate hydraulic cranes or equipment to handle raw materials, finished products, or equipment 2. Load and unload materials such as steel coils, slabs, or other heavy loads 3. Position and place materials accurately in designated areas 4. Conduct pre-operational checks and routine maintenance on hydraulic equipment 5. Ensure safe handling and storage of materials 6. Collaborate with production team to meet production targets 7. Follow safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents Additional Responsibilities: 1. Material handling and storage in warehouses or storage yards 2. Equipment inspection and reporting defects or issues 3. Troubleshooting and basic repairs on hydraulic equipment 4. Adhering to industry-specific safety standards and regulations Skills: 1. Technical knowledge of hydraulic cranes or equipment 2. Understanding of safety protocols and regulations 3. Attention to detail and precision in material handling 4. Physical stamina and ability to work in a fast-paced environment 5. Communication and teamwork skills Hydra Operators in the Iron and Steel Industry play a critical role in ensuring efficient material handling and production processes, while maintaining safety and quality standards.
