Overall responsibilities and duties:

Hardware lead to do the verification and testing of the ECU Hardware design by performing different testing like performance, qualification and endurance.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have/be: Minimum education level:

• Masters/Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electricals & Electronics/Electronics & Telecommunication.

Experience:

• Masters/Bachelor of engineering degree in Embedded/VLSI electronics systems with prior experience of minimum 0-4 years in Automotive Embedded Hardware verification and tesing.
• Good knowledge of Hardware testing, RF testing, Audio testing, electrical & electronic principles, symbols and practical application.
• Hands on experience of board bring up & validation along with test report.

Skills and competencies:

• Test engineering, Hardware testing
• Perform product validation and verification of hardware in lab/field environment
• Documentation skill to prepare test report and test observation, chart preparation
• Knowledge of measuring instruments like DSO, DMM, Programmable Power supply, electronic load, Data logger, Thermal camera, LCR meter, Differential probe, Spectrum analyzer, VNA, High speed DSO, Audio analyzer, WiFi-BT Tester, Bipolar power supply.
• Experience in Power supply testing, Communication protocol testing, RF testing, audio testing
• Understanding electrical metering standards
• Hands on experience with soldering iron to do re-work on boards
• Able to support/debug system integration

• Support for error analysis and root cause analysis
• Team Player with strong communication skills in English
• Good verbal and written communication skills

• Problem solving techniques & capability.
