HVAC Technician - Roles and ResponsibilitiesInstallation & Setup

Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Install ducts, vents, chillers, AHUs, FCUs, and VRF/VRV units. Check proper refrigerant levels and ensure correct airflow.

Maintenance & Service

Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment. Clean coils, filters, blowers, ducts, and condenser units. Test system performance and troubleshoot issues. Identify mechanical and electrical faults in HVAC systems.

Repair & Troubleshooting

Diagnose problems in compressors, motors, thermostats, sensors, and control systems. Repair or replace faulty parts such as belts, valves, pumps, motors, and fans. Handle refrigerant gas charging, leak testing, and recovery as per safety standards.

Monitoring & Documentation

Maintain service records, maintenance logs, and inspection reports. Follow checklists during routine inspections. Report major issues to supervisors or management.

Safety & Compliance

Follow HVAC safety standards and company policies. Ensure proper use of PPE during maintenance. Comply with energy-saving and environmental regulations.

Customer/Client Coordination

Coordinate with clients, supervisors, and vendors for maintenance or repair schedules. Explain issues and recommended solutions clearly.

Additional Skills

Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals. Basic knowledge of electrical systems and control panels. Strong problem-solving and time-management skills.

Pay: ₹21,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
