We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in air conditioning, equipment repair, and maintenance. This role involves working on various HVAC systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and effectively. The HVAC Technician will also be responsible for interpreting schematics and providing leadership in the execution of HVAC projects.
Duties
Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment.
Diagnose issues with HVAC systems using appropriate tools and techniques.
Interpret schematics to understand system layouts and troubleshoot problems effectively.
Collaborate with construction teams to integrate HVAC systems into new builds or renovations.
Provide leadership and guidance to junior technicians and apprentices during installations or repairs.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all work activities.
Skills
Strong mechanical knowledge of HVAC systems and components.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics related to HVAC installations.
Leadership skills to mentor junior staff and oversee project execution.
Experience in equipment repair, particularly in heating and cooling systems.
Knowledge of air conditioning principles and practices.
Ability to perform maintenance tasks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
