Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced

HVAC Technician

to join our hypermarket maintenance team. The HVAC Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems within the hypermarket premises. The role involves ensuring optimal performance of all HVAC systems to maintain a safe, comfortable, and energy-efficient environment for customers and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, chillers, AHUs, FCUs, exhaust fans, and duct systems. Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in HVAC systems. Monitor and maintain temperature control systems to ensure comfort in all hypermarket zones. Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns or HVAC-related complaints. Conduct regular inspections to ensure systems are operating efficiently and safely. Keep accurate records of services performed, parts used, and maintenance schedules. Comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Coordinate with vendors and external technicians when specialized repairs or upgrades are needed. Assist in energy conservation efforts and propose system improvements. Maintain tools, equipment, and workspace in good condition.

Requirements:

ITI/Diploma in Air Conditioning or HVAC or a related field. Minimum 3 years of experience in HVAC maintenance, preferably in commercial or retail environments. Solid understanding of HVAC systems, wiring diagrams, and control circuits. Ability to use diagnostic tools and read technical manuals. Physical ability to perform manual work, including lifting and climbing. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Willingness to work in shifts, weekends, and on-call as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in mall or large commercial building HVAC systems. Certification in HVAC/R or similar trade license.
