Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled

HVAC Technician

to install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with HVAC equipment, troubleshooting system issues, and ensuring optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, and ventilation units. Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in HVAC systems. Perform routine maintenance to ensure system efficiency and longevity. Replace or repair defective components, such as compressors, motors, and thermostats. Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer specifications. Test system performance and adjust settings for optimal functionality. Ensure compliance with local HVAC codes, regulations, and safety standards. Provide excellent customer service by explaining issues and solutions to clients. Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or HVAC certification preferred. EPA certification for handling refrigerants (Type I, II, or Universal). Proven experience as an HVAC technician or similar role. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical wiring, and refrigeration. Ability to read schematics and technical drawings. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications:

HVAC/R certification or associate degree in HVAC technology. Experience with both residential and commercial HVAC systems. Strong communication and customer service skills.
