Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment.
Clean filters, coils, condensers, and ducts to maintain efficiency.
Check refrigerant levels and recharge when necessary.
Lubricate moving parts to reduce wear and tear.
3. Troubleshooting & Repair
Diagnose problems in HVAC systems, including mechanical faults, refrigerant leaks, and electrical issues.
Replace defective parts such as motors, belts, thermostats, sensors, and control boards.
Repair or replace ductwork and insulation.
Calibrate thermostats and control systems.
4. System Testing & Performance Checks
Measure and adjust airflow, temperature, and humidity.
Use gauges, meters, and diagnostic tools to monitor system performance.
Ensure systems operate according to manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
5. Safety & Compliance
Follow local building codes, electrical regulations, and environmental laws (especially related to refrigerants).
Handle refrigerants safely, complying with environmental protection standards.
Ensure safe working practices when using ladders, power tools, and electrical equipment.
