The role requires strong technical expertise in HVAC systems, especially in the diagnosis, repair, and replacement of outdated or inefficient systems through retrofit solutions.
Education:
Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) - Mechanical Engineering
Specialization/Certification in HVAC Systems

Key Responsibilities: Service Management:
Lead, train, and manage a team of HVAC service technicians.
Schedule and dispatch service calls efficiently; monitor job progress and technician performance.
Handle escalated customer issues and provide technical support as needed.
Ensure all service work is completed to code, on time, and within budget.
Retrofit Project Management:
Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of HVAC retrofit projects (residential, commercial, or industrial).
Perform system evaluations and propose energy-efficient upgrades or replacements.
Collaborate with sales teams and engineers to develop retrofit scopes of work and proposals.
Manage retrofit project budgets, timelines, materials, and labor resources.
Ensure retrofit installations meet performance standards and compliance requirements.
Operational & Financial Oversight:
Monitor and control department budgets, including labor costs, materials, and subcontractors.
Track and report KPIs such as first-time fix rate, callback percentage, and retrofit project profitability.
Coordinate procurement of parts and equipment for both service and retrofit needs.
Maintain safety standards and ensure compliance with all relevant codes and regulations.
Customer & Vendor Relations:
Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
Interface with vendors and manufacturers regarding equipment, warranties, and technical support.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in HVAC service, with at least 2 years in a leadership or project management role.
Strong background in HVAC retrofit projects, system upgrades, and replacements.
In-depth knowledge of HVAC equipment, controls, ductwork, and energy efficiency strategies.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Valid HVAC certifications and applicable state licenses.
Knowledge of local and national mechanical codes.
