About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced

HVAC Senior Technician

to join our team. The ideal candidate will have advanced technical expertise in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems, along with strong problem-solving abilities and leadership skills. This position plays a key role in ensuring the comfort, safety, and efficiency of our clients' HVAC systems while mentoring junior technicians and maintaining top-quality service standards.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial and residential HVAC systems, including rooftop units, chillers, boilers, VAV systems, and controls. Perform preventive maintenance and system inspections to ensure peak performance and energy efficiency. Install HVAC equipment and systems according to manufacturer specifications and local codes. Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and control issues efficiently and accurately. Lead and support junior technicians, providing on-the-job training and technical guidance. Maintain detailed service records, job reports, and inventory of tools and materials. Ensure all work meets safety regulations, environmental requirements, and company standards. Communicate effectively with customers, providing clear explanations of work performed and recommendations. Assist with project planning, scheduling, and coordination with other trades as required.

Qualifications

Education:

High school diploma or GED required; technical school or HVAC certification preferred.

Experience:

Minimum 2

-7 years of experience

in HVAC service, maintenance, or installation (commercial and/or residential).

Skills:

Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, and troubleshooting procedures. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Leadership and mentoring capabilities. Proficient with HVAC diagnostic tools and software.
