We are seeking an experienced Source Inspection & Quality Control professional to carry out inspection, verification, and quality surveillance of products and/or assemblies at supplier/manufacturer premises prior to shipment to the Project Site.
Key Responsibilities
Perform source inspections and quality control checks at manufacturer/supplier locations to confirm conformity before dispatch.
Conduct detailed assessments to verify condition, workmanship, functionality, and safety against:
Approved specifications and drawings
Applicable codes and regulatory standards
Project quality requirements and Owner/Client requirements
Deliver inspection coverage across the full manufacturing lifecycle, including:
Pre-production inspections (readiness, materials, documentation review)
In-process / in-line inspections (witness points, hold points, production surveillance)
Final inspections, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and performance verification
Pre-shipment inspections (packing, preservation, marking, documentation completeness)
Identify non-conformities, raise NCRs where required, and follow through on corrective actions.
Maintain accurate inspection records, compile clear reports, and ensure documentation is complete and traceable.
Monitor supplier compliance with the approved ITP/QCP and support continuous improvement with vendors and project teams.
Qualifications
Degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering
10-15 years' experience in HVAC systems for mission-critical or industrial facilities
Proven experience in HVAC manufacturing inspections, including pre-production, in-process, final inspection, FAT, and pre-shipment inspection.
Strong understanding of quality assurance / quality control principles for mechanical equipment and assemblies.
Additional Information
The role is full time remote in India, project related travel required.
