Job Title: HVAC Service Engineer

Department: Service & Maintenance

Location: Vesu, Surat

Reports To: Service Manager / Technical Head
Salary- 25k-60k

Job Summary:

The HVAC Service Engineer will be responsible for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. The role requires strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and customer service orientation to ensure efficient system performance and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including chillers, AHUs, VRF/VRV, ductable units, split units, and ventilation systems.

Conduct regular preventive maintenance and ensure optimal system performance.

Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC systems and provide effective solutions.

Perform routine inspections and testing of HVAC equipment to comply with safety standards.

Assist in commissioning and startup of new HVAC systems.

Keep accurate records of service, maintenance, and repairs.

Respond to emergency service requests and resolve breakdowns within agreed timelines.

Coordinate with project/site teams and provide technical support.

Ensure compliance with company safety, quality, and environmental standards.

Provide customer training and guidance on system usage and maintenance.

Qualifications & Skills:

Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).

2-5 years of experience in HVAC service & maintenance (freshers with strong technical knowledge may also apply).

Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical controls, and refrigeration cycles.
